The stormy winter weather is bringing out the best in one Pennsylvania community. A pizza shop owner sent out a message on Facebook saying he would deliver prescriptions or supplies to anyone who wasn’t able to venture out into the cold.

Fox’s Pizza Den owner Tom Wynkoop wrote:  “if you have a medical or physical disability PLEASE PLEASE do not attempt to leave the house. Call my cell phone and I will make every attempt to help you.”

This morning on Fox and Friends Weekend, Wynkoop said he’s humbled by the grateful responses. “I do it because it has to be done.”

Dr. Pete Pacienza heard about Wynkoop’s act of kindness and was compelled to join. He said, “Ligonier is a tight knit community and we care about people that are around us. And if it just takes checking on your neighbor or whatever, that’s what we do.”
