NEW VIDEO: Rescuers Saw SF Plane Crash Victim Before Truck Ran Her Over
New video from the July 6 plane crash in San Francisco could shed light on the death of one of the three victims. Ye Meng Yuan was injured, lying at the scene as firefighters raced to extinguish the burning Asiana Airlines jet.
The 16-year-old girl, on her way to a summer camp from her home in China, was killed when a fire truck ran her over.
The new video appears to show firefighters pointing out Ye's body on the ground before trucks arrived at the scene.
Earlier reports indicated that her body may have been obscured before she was run over.
The newly released video is raising questions about why none of the rescuers at the scene checked to see if she was alive.
The city is facing a wrongful death lawsuit from Ye's parents after a coroner ruled that the girl was alive when she was run over.
