The chairman of a charity that helps Gold Star Families, as well as a Gold Star wife and a corporate sponsor, joined "Fox & Friends" to preview what they called the "most patriotic race" of the year for NASCAR.
For the past several years, NASCAR has partnered with Folds of Honor and gas station chain QuikTrip to recognize and support Gold Star and other military families.
"It's an unbelievable day. It's a great day to be an American," Folds of Honor founder Maj. Dan Rooney said.
Rooney said there are many "red issues and blue issues" but that during the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the colors are instead red white and blue.

QuikTrip CEO Chet Cadieux said his company is privileged to work with and raise millions of dollars for Folds of Honor scholarships for people like Katzenberger-Coursey.
So humbled to have Chet Cadieux, CEO with @QuikTrip and his team partner with @FoldsofHonor to provide scholarships for thousands of military families like Colleen Katzenberger Coursey. Watch our interview from @foxandfriends live this morning.
