Stirewalt: 'Don't Underestimate Eric Holder' in 2020 Democratic Field

Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt warned not to count out former Attorney General Eric Holder from mounting a promising 2020 presidential bid against President Donald Trump.
Holder told a recent panel, "we'll see," when asked about the prospect of running against Trump.
Stirewalt said there will be a race within the Democratic field to "claim the mantle of Barack Obama."
He said Holder could claim he will "finish the work" Obama started, calling him the "James K. Polk to [Obama's] Andrew Jackson."Article continues below
Polk, a Democratic congressman from Tennessee in the 1820s, staunchly opposed President John Quincy Adams' administration and became very close with Jackson, who became Adams' successor.
Polk was elected president himself in 1844 and embraced a Jacksonian agenda.
