'Easier to Destroy Than Create': Tucker, Rubin on Liberals Targeting 'Rudolph' as Bigoted
News website HuffPost called out Christmas TV classic "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" as being "seriously problematic," claiming that the treatment of Rudolph throughout the story hits on themes of bigotry, sexism and bullying.
"Yearly reminder that #Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism & homophobia w/Santa as a bigoted exploitative prick," read one comment shared by HuffPost along with its Twitter video.

Not everyone agreed, since the video attracted a deluge of comments mocking the idea that the iconic Christmas tale could be a negative influence on children.

I feel sorry for future generations. The Left is conditioning you to be fragile, weak and triggered by everything. A Christmas movie is emotionally damaging but telling a 6 year old he should be gender fluid isn’t? Sick people. https://t.co/BWerbv77tQ

Dave Rubin, of "The Rubin Report" on YouTube, and Tucker Carlson reacted Thursday, with Carlson asking Rubin if he's sure the video was not an elaborate prank by HuffPost.
Rubin said progressives seem to want to look back at shows or movies that were popular through the years and attempt to find something offensive about it.
"It's so much easier to destroy than to create," he said, predicting the attacks will eventually move on to shows like "Seinfeld" and "Friends" and other things.
"Anyone can burn anything down," he added.
Carlson noted that liberals always mock the idea that there is a "war on Christmas" but then a piece like this claims Rudolph's father and Santa are "sinister characters" in the story.
