Fiery 'This Is Lunacy': Pirro Says Florida Election Controversy Proves 'the Left Has Brainwashed Society'
Recounts announced for Senate and gubernatorial races.
The midterm election controversy in Florida is proof that the left has brainwashed society, Judge Jeanine Pirro said in her Opening Statement on Saturday.
On Saturday, Florida's secretary of state, Ken Detzner, announced recounts for the tight Senate and gubernatorial races.
Senate candidate Rick Scott (R) and gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis (R) led their races against Democrats Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum after Tuesday's elections, but their leads dissipated in the days that followed.
"How is that possible? How is that OK?" Pirro asked.
The Democrats, Judge Jeanine said, are refusing to accept the "declared results of the national media."
"Theirs is a double-standard. 'You say we lost, we'll say we won. ... We'll do a recount and we will win,'" she said.
I am replacing my earlier concession with an unapologetic and uncompromised call to count every vote.

She questioned why Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes has not been removed from her post.
Snipes is at the center of the voting controversy after invalid and valid votes in the elections were reportedly mixed.
"Folks, this is lunacy," Pirro said. "Voter fraud is insidious. It causes people to think their vote doesn't matter."
