An "Angel Mom" says that the caravan of thousands of migrants making its way through Mexico to the U.S. border must be stopped.

President Trump on Monday vowed that there was no limit to the number of U.S. troops he’s prepared to send to defend the southern border from the caravan, which is pushing north to the U.S.

On "Fox & Friends" Tuesday, Agnes Gibboney, whose son was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant in 2002, said Trump is right that strong action must be taken to defend our border and national security.

"This is a mob that's invading our country and this needs to be stopped," Gibboney, who came to America legally from Hungary, said. "They don't respect our country."

She noted that migrants in the caravan -- which now numbers at more than 7,000 -- were seen over the weekend smashing through a Guatemalan border fence and fleeing toward Mexican territory.

"What makes anybody think that they're going to respect American laws? We don't need these people here," Gibboney said.

She said if they are legitimate refugees fleeing persecution or political violence, then they should go to the first port of entry, not swarm the border.

"We have immigration laws, we need to enforce them," Gibboney said.
