Candace Owens expressed her happiness over Kanye West's "Saturday Night Live" speech Monday on Fox & Friends.

The rapper was the show's musical guest over the weekend, and at the conclusion of the broadcast delivered a diatribe about his support for President Trump.

West's speech was not aired on television, but video of it was captured and posted online by audience members, including comedian Chris Rock.

Rock can be heard in his video laughing and saying "Oh my god."

Owens, communications director for Turning Point USA, said on Monday that West is currently one of the "bravest men in America."

"The left has declared war on our American values, and Kanye is fighting the cultural front," she said.

West has been a vocal and highly scrutinized Trump supporter. He has been active in displaying his conservative beliefs on social media and has also discussed a potential run for president in 2024.

He stated in his speech on Saturday that "they bullied me backstage. They said 'Don't go out there with that hat on.'"

Many of the "SNL" cast members can be seen with their heads down standing behind the rapper.

"What Kanye is doing is unbelievably brave," Owens said. "To stand up to the mob, to put on a 'MAGA' hat and to say 'I support this president.'"
