SIGN UP FOR FOX NATION FOR TOMI LAHREN'S "FINAL THOUGHTS!"

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren called out Michelle Obama after the former first lady reentered the political fray in a speech in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Mrs. Obama, in her first public appearance since leaving the White House almost two years ago, lamented the "chaos and nastiness" of U.S. politics and urged people to vote in November's midterm elections.

"We get the leaders we vote for, we get the policies we vote for, and when we don't vote, that's when we wind up with government of, by and for other people," she said at the When We All Vote event. "Because you can't vote some of the time and then sit out. You know we saw that happen. We experienced that. We had a great president."

On "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday, Lahren took issue, in particular, with Obama's "we had a great president" remark.

"By what measure?" Lahren said. "By what measure was her husband a better president than the current president? Because not in economic growth, not in border security and enforcement, not in diplomatic relations, not in making the United States ... strong on the international and national stage."

She wondered why Democrats are apparently counting on the Obamas to help their chances heading into the midterm elections after they failed to drive people to the polls for Hillary Clinton.

"They couldn't get people out in that election, but now somehow [they're] supposed to follow Michelle and Barack Obama and that's going to save the Democratic Party?" Lahren said. "Eh, I don't think so."
