Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said Saturday on "Fox & Friends" that it's time to consider firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Bongino warned that Mueller's Russia investigation has nothing to do with any collusion during the 2016 presidential election.

"They are not investigating collusion. They are investigating you," he said of President Trump.

Bongino added that if the president wants the investigation to be fair or ultimately stop, it's time to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and look at firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

"It's also time to strongly consider firing Bob Mueller," he said. "Let's get someone in there who can legitimately look at Russian collusion, which we know didn't happen."

Bongino also criticized former CIA Director John Brennan, calling him the "puppet master" behind the entire Mueller probe.

Brennan appeared on HBO's "Real Time" on Friday, agreeing with host Bill Maher that Trump’s presidency "is the third great crisis in American history."

He defended his tweet that said Trump's behavior during his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin was "nothing short of treasonous."

He also said that “the walls are closing in" on Trump regarding Mueller's investigation.

"This guy's the worst of the worst," Bongino said.
