Final Thoughts 'That Girl in Iowa Has a Name': Tomi Lahren Takes on Left's Response to Mollie Tibbetts' Murder
An illegal immigrant allegedly murders 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts, and leftists make excuses! This really is a new low.
It’s time for Final Thoughts.
Like many of you, I’m shocked and disgusted by how the left has reacted to the murder of Mollie Tibbetts. The reaction ranges from diversion to apathy. Can’t say I’m surprised.
First up is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, who after saying she was “so sorry” for the Tibbetts family, reminded us what's truly important to her:
Hey Senator Warren - if you want to talk about family separation, let’s talk about how Mollie Tibbetts was violently and permanentely separated from her family.
At least Warren’s views are transparent. Leaders of the Democratic Party seem to care more about illegal immigrant families than the safety and security of American families.
Next up is MSNBC guest and Fordham professor Christina Greer, who seemed to dismiss the murder altogether.
A girl in Iowa?! Excuse me?! That “girl in Iowa” has a name. And her murder was a huge news story.
The internet agreed. After getting slammed online, Greer issued a half-apology, then deleted her twitter account.
And some commentators not only refused to acknowledge the accused killer as an illegal immigrant - but blame the murder entirely on masculinity. Here is a tweet from former Bernie Sanders spokesperson and CNN contributor Symone Sanders.
Masculinity?! How will encouraging men to be less masculine stop anyone from murdering innocent people?
These excuses are just some used by the left to distract from the bigger issue - illegal immigration. And the murder of Mollie Tibbetts is a horrific reminder that illegal immigration has real consequences.
Yes, American citizens are equally capable of committing atrocities. And no, most illegal immigrants aren’t murderers. BUT we’ve seen far too many cases - from Kate Steinle to Jamil Shaw and now Mollie Tibbetts.
This isn’t just a border issue. It’s an American issue. Wake up.
Those are my Final Thoughts. From LA, God bless and take care.
