President Donald Trump will sit down for an exclusive interview with "Fox & Friends" co-host Ainsley Earhardt, airing Thursday morning at 6:00am ET on Fox News Channel.

In an interview taped on Wednesday, the president discussed a multitude of pressing topics, including Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, the murder of Mollie Tibbetts, illegal immigration the midterm elections and much more.

Cohen, Trump's former attorney, pleaded guilty to eight charges in federal court on Tuesday related to then-candidate Trump's presidential campaign.

He was once looked at as one of the president's most committed and loyal backers, even going so far as to say he would "take a bullet" for him.

Earhardt asked the president whether he knew about the hush payments.

"Later on I knew.  Later on. But you have to understand, Ainsley ... they weren’t taken out of campaign finance, that’s the big thing. That’s a much bigger thing.  Did they come out of the campaign? They didn’t come out of the campaign," he said.

The discussion on illegal immigration comes as Cristhian Rivera, a 24-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts.

Tibbetts disappeared one month ago in a case that captured national attention. Her body was found Tuesday in a corn field in Iowa.
