Judge Jeanine to NY Times: 'Get on Board With 'Make America Great Again' or 'Get Out of the Way'
In her Opening Statement, Judge Jeanine Pirro blasted the New York Times over the storied paper's latest editorial board hire.
The Times recently brought on tech writer Sarah Jeong, but her hiring was criticized due to some derogatory tweets of hers that were unearthed.
In one of multiple tweets that have gone viral, Jeong wrote, "Oh man it's kind of sick how much joy I get out of being cruel to old white men."
"#CancelWhitePeople" and "I was equating Trump to Hitler before it was cool" were among the others.
Pirro said that after Jeong's hiring, the Times is now "officially" a "socialist newspaper."
"The newspaper that has always prided itself on being there for the forgotten and on being open-minded, fair and at the citadel of the newspaper publishing world is now admitting to its own hypocrisy," she said.
The Times defended Jeong in a statement, saying that she was responding to others who were harassing her.

By defending Jeong, Pirro added, the New York Times is saying it's OK to be racist if the target is white.

Judge Jeanine hit back at the paper, too, over an editorial asking readers to fight the nomination of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
"This is all the more reason for Democrats and progressives to take a page from “The Godfather” and go to the mattresses on this issue," the July 6 piece said.
"Really?" Pirro asked. "'The Godfather?' It's been a while since I've seen 'The Godfather' but last I recall, 'going to the mattresses' meant that one family was going to wipe out another."
Judge Jeanine said that she's tired of elitists telling everyone not to believe their lying eyes "when the truth is so painfully obvious."
"Here's my favorite quote from 'The Godfather': We're gonna make you an offer you can't refuse. Stop your resistance. Stop your obstruction. Stop the hypocrisy and get on board with making America great again, or get outta the way."
