In his Opening Monologue, Sean Hannity warned of the Democrats' planned agenda, should they take back Congress in the midterms elections.

Hannity said that the Democrats have proven their earnestness for such plans with the fact that they continue to regularly criticize Trump.

Hannity said that with an all-caps tweet directed at Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Trump showed that the U.S. would "no longer sit idly by as the Iranian regime is fighting proxy wars [and] chanting death to America."

He said the Tweet set off "widespread breathless panic," pointing to comments made by several top Democrats to the media.

Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly of Arlington-Fairfax said Iran was a ploy to "distract" from issues arising from his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Finland.

Connecticut Rep. Jim Himes of Greenwich ripped Trump by pointing out he criticized President Obama as one who may go to war with Iran.

"The Democrats have no real plans to improve America," Hannity said.

He listed several things the Democrats reportedly plan to accomplish, including impeaching Trump, repealing tax cuts, enacting "open border" policies, and halting investigations into Obama administration actions during the 2016 elections.
