The "Fox & Friends" team was enthralled Wednesday morning with the winner of the 30th annual World’s Ugliest Dog contest.

The hosts got to meet the lovable English bulldog Zsa Zsa, who hails from Anoka, Minn. Her owners said they picked her out because of all of her imperfections, including a severe underbite and a long tongue that dangles about six inches below her mouth.

"She's beautiful to us. I love all those special qualities," said her owner, Megan Brainard, who adopted Zsa Zsa from a rescue group.

The annual contest concluded Saturday at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma, Calif., north of San Francisco.

"It looks as if somebody, in a lab, has taken different ugly parts of dogs and put them all on that dog," said Steve Doocy.

Brainard said Zsa Zsa's characteristics should actually serve as a warning about puppy mills who are overbreeding.

All the hosts of "Fox & Friends" thought Zsa Zsa was cute despite her officially-awarded ugliness.

"I love her!" said Janice Dean.

UPDATE: Sadly, Zsa Zsa's owner announced just weeks after this interview that the beloved 9-year-old English bulldog passed away in her sleep.
