US Marshals Seek PA Man Who Threatened to 'Put a Bullet' in Trump's Head
Federal law enforcement are reportedly continuing to search for a Pennsylvania man who threatened "to put a bullet" in President Trump's head, in addition to making a death threat against a local district attorney in the Commonwealth.
Shawn Christy, 26, is the subject of a "large-scale" search by U.S. marshals, the FBI and the Secret Service after authorities issued an arrest warrant at his home in McAdoo, near Tamaqua -- according to WFMZ-69 News.
Christy recently posted on Facebook that if Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli (D) "keep[s] it up," the man "promise[s] to put a bullet in your head as as soon as I put one in the head of President Donald J. Trump."
Christy also reportedly pleaded guilty to a charge of making terroristic threats against a tax collection clerk in Bangor -- which lies within Morganelli's county of Northampton. Christy lives in Schuylkill County.
"He is believed to be a clear and present danger to the immediate law enforcement community," U.S. Marshals official Robert Clark said Wednesday, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Christy's father, Craig, contacted authorities after reading the Facebook posts, according to WFMZ. The father said he was "upset because threats are not the right way to solve" things.

In 2011, a Pennsylvania State Trooper came to Christy's home to ask if he was planning to attend a book signing in Bloomington, Minn. featuring former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).
Palin had previously obtained a restraining order against Christy, who she said threatened her and said he was buying a plane ticket to Alaska, FoxNews.com reported at the time.
Christy's family alleged harassment against the trooper at the time, FoxNews.com reported.
Marshals are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to Christy's arrest. The tip line is 484-358-1974.
