Hannity: Rod Rosenstein 'Should Step Aside or Be Fired'
Sean Hannity called on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to resign or be fired in the wake of allegations he reamed out lawmakers and Congressional staffers, threatening to subpoena records after he was accused of slow-walking their own requests.
Hannity said that Rosenstein is trying to "prevent" lawmakers from doing their jobs, calling it "reprehensible" that anyone in the Department of Justice would "use their power... to literally intimidate members of Congress."
"What are you hiding?" Hannity asked. "Why are you obstructing [and] threatening and harassing... staffers?"
He said that Rosenstein should move on if he is attempting to obstruct justice.
Hannity added that former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy said Rosenstein is "conflicted and acting like it."
