'Could You Ask for a Better Battle?': Gutfeld on Alec Baldwin Discussing Presidential Bid
Greg Gutfeld commented on actor Alec Baldwin's claims he has a "1,000 percent" chance of beating President Donald Trump in a head-to-head election.
Gutfeld said it would be the "funniest, most exciting, most crazy campaign" in history.
"Could you ask for a better battle?" he asked, noting that the last time Baldwin was seen running a business -- Trump's former profession -- was in the animated film "The Boss Baby."
Gutfeld said both men are "famous, blustery, ego-driven New Yorkers," and joked that Baldwin could even choose fellow left-wing actor Sean Penn as his running mate.
Penn made headlines for summits with deceased Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.
"All of your friends are destroying themselves," Gutfeld said of Baldwin's Hollywood pals.
He pointed to Robert De Niro's obscenity-laced tirades directed at Trump and Madonna's claim she's thought about bombing the White House.
"Why stay on the sidelines like a coward," he said. "If not you, then who?"
Jesse Watters added that Baldwin appears "obsessed with Trump."
