A left-wing radio host said America should honor its fallen heroes by joining together in a "resistance" movement against President Donald Trump, Jillian Mele reported on "Fox & Friends" Monday.

Dean Obeidallah wrote that Americans should "honor the women and men who bravely sacrificed their lives fighting to protect our nation's freedoms" by opposing Trump and his policies.

Obeidallah said Trump is engaged in "attacks on our democracy."

"#TheResistance is the highest form of patriotism," the Lodi, N.J. native wrote.

In another tweet, Obeidallah called Trump a "draft dodger" and asked his supporters what they thought of the Republican getting an official deferment from military service in his youth.
