Sean Hannity ripped Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan for being allegedly exposed as a "liar" on whether the unverified Trump-Russia dossier was used as material in his bureau's assessment of election meddling on the part of Russia.

Hannity said Brennan's overall credibility should've been initially questioned since he admitted voting for Gus Hall, the Communist Party USA presidential candidate, in 1976.

"How Brennan became CIA director is breathtaking," Hannity said of the New Jersey native's vote for Hall, the Communist Party's then-chairman.

Hannity said Brennan is "being again exposed as a liar" while he simultaneously taunts President Donald Trump on Twitter.

Nodding to reporting from journalist Paul Sperry, Hannity said former NSA Director Adm. Michael Rogers and former Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper contradict Brennan's testimony to Congress on the matter.

In a 2017 hearing, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) asked Brennan if the Steele dossier was used as a basis for a bureau assessment of possible 2016 election meddling.

Brennan testified that it wasn't, but that account is now being questioned itself by Rogers and Clapper.

Hannity also noted reports that Brennan chose controversial FBI Agent Peter Strzok to work on the intel community's assessment.

"This deep state is one huge, giant, incestuous, corrupt swamp," he said.
