Bongino Rips Media's Israel Coverage: 'Surprised Hamas Doesn't Have a Desk in Newsroom'
Former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino ripped the mainstream media for what he considered acting as a mouthpiece for Palestinian interests in covering the opening of the American embassy in Jerusalem.
The New York Daily News published a front-page story naming Ivanka Trump "Daddy's little ghoul," illustrating deadly attacks on the Gaza border while President Trump opened the embassy in Israel.
MSNBC commentator and former McCain campaign aide Steve Schmidt said Trump has "blood on his hands" and "destabilized the region without having any clue with what he is doing."
"The View" host Sunny Hostin said the U.S. should have considered the Palestinians' input.
"It's not a demonstration, it's not a protest when you show up with bombs," Bongino said in response.
"They decided to show up with explosives [on the Israel-Gaza border]," he said.
Bongino said the media should be "ashamed and embarrassed" with their coverage.
"I'm surprised Hamas doesn't have a desk in their newsrooms," he said.
