Laura Ingraham said the White House Correspondents' Association's choice of comic Michelle Wolf as its dinner emcee proved the media are "brimming with hatred" for President Trump.

"[Trump] embarrassed them with his electoral victory," Ingraham said of the press.

Ingraham said that by being absent from the dinner while Wolf blasted his administration, he is "revealing them for who they really are."

"Choosing Wolf as their avatar... confirmed their bias," Ingraham said.

Ingraham said Wolf was "tastelessly unfunny" and amounted to a "warrior princess in the 'resistance'."
