Amid the escalating war of words between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, two lawmakers from opposite sides of the aisle engaged in a different kind of battle: a snowball fight.

Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) met on the Capitol Hill East lawn shortly after 10 a.m. ET on Thursday for what Flake dubbed a "snowball duel."

The wager? Loser buys pizza for the victorious senator's staff.

Flake posted an action shot of the "monumental battle," crediting Booker with a "legit" drop and roll maneuver.

Shortly after the "duel," Booker announced that he lost the contest 3 to 2, acknowledging that he probably should not have been so confident going head-to-head in a snowball fight with a "guy named Flake from Snowflake, Arizona."

Flake later posted a victorious photo of his staff enjoying some pizzas, courtesy of his vanquished foe.
