'Angel Dad': Pelosi Would Want a 'Wall to the Moon' If an Illegal Immigrant Hurt Her Family
The father of a teenager who was murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2008 said Friday that Rep. Nancy Pelosi would probably support a border wall if someone in her family was harmed by an illegal immigrant.
"I guarantee you she would go hog-wild, building a wall to the moon if she had to," Jamiel Shaw, Sr. said.
The House minority leader said Thursday that President Donald Trump's border wall prototypes were too tall, denounced them as "obnoxious" and said the barrier has no place in a "civilized society."
Shaw also said on "Fox and Friends" that Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf "has blood on her hands" after warning the public about an immigration raid.
He said he wants her prosecuted for aiding and abetting and putting lives in danger.
Schaaf sparked national outrage when she pre-empted an ICE enforcement operation in northern California by announcing it on Twitter in February.

"The guy who killed my son was on his third gun charge," Shaw said. "But they don't care if illegal aliens carry guns and kill our kids."
"It is Oakland’s legal right to be a sanctuary city and we have not broken any laws," Schaaf said in a statement last month. "We believe our community is safer when families stay together."
The controversy has raised more concern regarding California's sanctuary state status, in which the local government's cooperation with national immigration enforcement is limited.

The Department of Justice is probing whether Schaaf obstructed justice by issuing the warning.
