Clinton Rips Trump, Says 'Pressures' Caused White Women to Vote for Him

Donald Trump Jr. said he's "not surprised" by the House Intelligence Committee's report that it found "no evidence of collusion, coordination or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians."

"I've known this all along," Trump Jr. said on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning. "This is something that we've dealt with for two years. And what I really want to know is how much money, time and resources were spent on this witch hunt by the Democrats simply because they couldn't believe Donald Trump won."

Despite the committee's report, Trump Jr. said the Democrats will not let go of their collusion narrative because it's their only talking point heading into this year's midterm elections.

"They have nothing else. In '18, what are they going to run on? The economy? What are they going to run on? Jobs? They got nothing. They got obstructionism," Trump Jr. said.

He said the various Russia investigations have been a "huge pain," but he's glad they happened because they uncovered the real collusion during the 2016 election took place between the Democratic National Committee and high-level officials at the Justice Department and FBI.

Brian Kilmeade asked Trump Jr. if he regrets not being "straight up" about a controversial meeting he scheduled with members of the Trump campaign and a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower in New York City in June 2016.

Donald Trump Jr.'s Meeting With Russian Lawyer: What to Know

"Honestly, I took a 20-minute meeting. It was the biggest waste of time in my life," Trump Jr. said. "I wouldn't even have remembered the meeting. ... When you're on a campaign trail like that, there's so much going on. I didn't even think about it."

He added that he does not have a position in his father’s administration, so he is not required to disclose foreign contacts.

He said that the DNC and the Clinton campaign, on the other hand, paid a foreign operative for the infamous anti-Trump dossier, which was then used by the FBI to obtain a surveillance warrant on a Trump campaign aide.

"The double standard's pretty sickening," Trump Jr. said.
