Fiery Malkin Slams 'Beltway Barnacle' Pelosi for Attacking Trump Tax Cuts as 'Unpatriotic'
“If what you’re doing is cutting the taxes at the high end and therefore not being allowed to invest in the future, you’re doing a grave disservice to our country,” Pelosi said at a town hall event in Phoenix on Tuesday, adding that the GOP tax bill was “undermining” American democracy.
“So, a budget, again, [is] a statement of values, it’s about conscience, it’s about justice. That’s not what this budget or tax plan is about,” Pelosi said.
On "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday, Malkin, a CRTV host, said she did not think Pelosi could top her infamous "crumbs" remark, but the California Democrat has apparently outdone herself.
She argued that Pelosi and other Democrat lawmakers insist on playing the "class warfare card" because it's the only one they have.
Malkin said the American people, however, can see through that, noting that a woman in the town hall audience heckled Pelosi, asking, "How much are you worth, Nancy?"
"Are you in abject poverty?" the woman shouted at Pelosi, who is routinely listed among the wealthiest members of Congress.
"And there she was, 'Marie Antoinette Pelosi,' saying, 'We cannot discuss that. Silence,'" Malkin said.
She described Pelosi as a "Beltway barnacle" who has parlayed her years of entrenchment in the Washington, D.C., swamp into a massive amount of personal wealth.
Malkin said a majority of Americans approve of the Republican tax bill, so she encouraged Pelosi to continue railing against it.
"I can't wait for the next sound bite from Nancy Pelosi."
