Gutfeld on Solving Mass Shootings: Harden Soft Targets, Don't 'Target Haystack While Letting Needle Slip Through'
Greg Gutfeld said one of the biggest takeaways from the tragic mass murder at a Florida high school is that soft targets like it should be "hardened."
Gutfeld said numerous businesses and government buildings have armed guards protecting them.
"We need to harden soft targets," he said, adding that we need to "slash the media footprint of killers."
Gutfeld said people like suspect Nikolas Cruz "obsess over the fame of previous creeps."
He added that lawmakers should take a measured approach to gun violence prevention.
"No one trusts each other in this debate," he said.
He said "tagging" possible perpetrators like Cruz is key to stopping gun violence while maintaining personal liberties.
"We want to get the bad eggs, not the law-abiding ones," he said, adding that the point should be not to "target the haystack while letting the needle slip through."
