SUSPECT ID'D: 17 Reported Killed, More Wounded in Florida High School Shooting

'It's a Bad Day, Shepard': Sen. Bill Nelson Reacts to Florida School Shooting

Tucker Carlson spoke to a mathematics teacher who taught Parkland, Fla. school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz last term.

Jim Gard said Cruz was in his class for one semester in 2016.

He said Cruz was "real quiet" and saw "nothing outstanding" about the now 19-year-old.

Gard said there had been a fire drill earlier in the day Wednesday and that the shooting triggered another alarm in the afternoon.

Gard said he heard other students talking about Cruz being the suspect.

"Oh, wow, I had Nick in class," Gard remembered thinking to himself.

"Am I shocked? Nowadays, nothing is shocking anymore, and that's horrible," he said.
