Rachel Campos-Duffy Describes 'Traumatic' Train Crash With Husband, 8 Kids

Dana Loesch sounded off Thursday after some on the left rushed to make ill-considered jokes about Republican lawmakers being involved in a train crash

In one such example, Jonathan Tasini - a onetime campaign surrogate for Sen. Bernie Sanders - joked that "God is working hard today to clean up the stink" after the train struck a dump truck carrying trash.

Tasini, who also writes for CNN, later deleted the tweet, and attempted to explain it with another tweet:

The collision left one person dead in the truck and some members of Congress were treated for minor injuries, including possible concussions.

Loesch, a national radio host and author, noted that many other people on Twitter were joking about the crash.

"Aren't these the same people, by the way, who are constantly complaining about the state of political discourse?" she asked.

Loesch also sounded off on Rep. Maxine Waters' (D-Calif.) response to the State of the Union and Democrats playing games on their cell phones during the speech.

"They're terrified because the economy is doing well," she said, adding that Democrats like Waters have no counter-arguments except to call Trump a racist.
