A prominent African leader is now praising President Trump in the wake of his "s***hole countries" remark about Haiti and Africa, Martha MacCallum reported.

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni reportedly told the country's legislature in Kampala that he "loves" the American president.

Trump reportedly disparaged third world nations during a White House meeting on immigration, in remarks first publicized by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).

Museveni appeared to agree that some African governments have systemic problems.

"I love Trump because he tells Africans frankly," Museveni, 73, said. "The Africans need to solve their problems."

MacCallum reported Trump still denies he used the obscenity, but confirmed he used tough language while speaking to the bipartisan group.

Museveni has been Uganda's president since 1986.
