'Trump Holds, Schumer Folds': Pundits React to Deal to End Gov't Shutdown

Judge Andrew Napolitano said the apparent "memo" detailing abuses by the Obama administration and federal Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) courts is "very bad stuff."

Napolitano said he has not seen the memo, which has not yet been publicly released, but has heard cautionary things about it.

"I've heard comments about [it] which are so outrageous that if the public had seen these things it would lose such faith in... the FBI," Napolitano said.

"This is really very bad stuff," he said.

Napolitano said actions described in the memo have been called "KGB-like" - a reference to the former Soviet secret police, with which Russian President Vladimir Putin was associated.

"The American public has the right to know how governmental power... has been used or abused," Napolitano said.
