Former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz believes that Mitt Romney will run for Senate in Utah and win.
There has been much speculation that Romney will run for Sen. Orrin Hatch's seat when the longest-serving Senate Republican retires at the end of the year.
The 2012 Republican presidential candidate added fuel to the fire on Tuesday when he changed his location on his Twitter profile from "Massachusetts" to "Holladay, UT."
On "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday, Chaffetz, who served as the representative for Utah's 3rd congressional district from 2009 until 2017, said he thinks Romney "certainly" will run.
"He's one of the most beloved figures, he has a home in Holladay, Utah, he attended Brigham Young University, he saved Utah for the Olympics in 2002, he was the presidential nominee. He's going to win," Chaffetz said.
He added that he believes Romney would be a "really good senator," but his relationship with President Trump will be interesting to watch.
Romney was a vocal critic of Trump's during the 2016 election and some have speculated that he could be a potential thorn in the president's side in the Senate.
"The reality is the most beloved political figure in Utah is Mitt Romney, and he will be the next senator if he decides to run," Chaffetz said.
