'He's Actually Outside': 'Fox & Friends' Surprises Navy Sailor's Family For Christmas

Santa Claus and his friends took part in an annual Washington tradition this weekend, as they took to the water for some cold-weather fun.

Santa and at least one reindeer could be seen riding around in powerboats on the Potomac River.

Nearby, the oft-curmudgeonly Grinch appeared to crack a smile as he waterskiied alongside the nation's capital.

Even Frosty the Snowman was seen having a ball.

Leland Vittert reported that a local resident started the costumed tradition several years ago.

Vittert remarked that the characters were pretty brave to do so, as he said the Washington, D.C. triathlon sometimes cancels its swimming portion because of the low water quality in the Potomac.
