Anthony Scaramucci: Trump Is Too Smart to Fire Robert Mueller
Anthony Scaramucci thinks President Donald Trump is too smart to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
In recent days, there has been speculation that Trump will attempt to shut down Mueller's investigation into Russia's involvement in the 2016 U.S. election following revelations about members of Mueller's team who were apparently biased against Trump.

Scaramucci, who briefly held the job of White House communications director in July, said on "Fox & Friends" that Trump is frustrated by the process because he knows there was no collusion between his campaign and Russia.
Despite that, Scaramucci said Trump also knows that firing Mueller would just create a bigger problem.
"I just think he’s too smart to do something like that. He doesn’t need another distraction on top of that distraction," Scaramucci said.
On Sunday, Trump told reporters outside the White House that he is not planning to fire Mueller.
Scaramucci said that he worked with the Trump team for 18 months and he served in the White House as communications director for 11 days, and he never saw Trump engage in any collusion with Russia.
He suggested that Democrats and the mainstream media are pushing the narrative about firing Mueller to distract from Trump's many successes.
"Here’s what we need to talk about: booming economy, rising wages, real job growth, real wage growth for lower and middle class families. And you’re gonna get tax relief here shortly, and that's going to be very meaningful for a lot of these families," Scaramucci said.
"There's a big media distraction going on right now, but I predict by the middle of next year, people are going to say, ‘Wait a minute, this guy's doing an amazing job, economy's booming.’ And I think he’s going to surprise in the 2018 congressional elections.”
