Former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino reacted to President Trump's speech on national security strategy Monday.

"We want strong alliances and partnerships based on cooperation and reciprocity," Trump said earlier in the day. "We will make new partnerships with those who share our goals."

Bongino said the speech was a far cry from what he called President Obama's "international apology tour."

He said he cannot forget Obama dismissing American exceptionalism as conservatives view it.

"We are a constitutional republic - the most prosperous country on Earth," Bongino said.

"Thumbs up for Donald Trump for celebrating America again," he said.
