Bongino on FBI's Trump 'Insurance Policy' Emails: 'If This Happened in 2008, the Country Would've Exploded'

Christian Bale ripped President Trump's effect on America, saying he is "shocked" at what it has become.

Bale, who hails from the United Kingdom, played Batman in Christopher Nolan's installments of the film series. The actor said he "adores" America as his adopted country and is ashamed of what it has become.

Bale said America now "seeth[es] with hatred and division" and that Trump has negatively affected citizens' attitude toward "people of different opinions" and immigrants.

"Hopefully we'll come through this for something far better," Bale said, projecting that the "majority" of the country agrees with him.

Pete Hegseth said on "Fox & Friends" that Bale doesn't speak for people in his home state of Minnesota.

"Why does he think his voice is amplified?" Hegseth asked.
