President Donald Trump held a "Make America Great Again Rally" in Pensacola, Florida, tonight, and he kicked it off by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

"You remember the campaign. I said, 'Let me begin by wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas,'" Trump said to cheers from the crowd.

He said he can think of no better Christmas present for the American people than a massive tax cut.

Trump said he hopes that Republicans in the House and Senate can come to an agreement on the tax reform bill shortly.

"You're going to be paying a lot less tax. So congratulations," Trump said, adding, "I hope. They gotta vote, and I think they will."

Trump has declared on multiple occasions that with him in the White House, "We’re saying 'Merry Christmas' again"
