Vegas Victims' Attorney: MGM Lawyers, Execs 'Hunkered Down in a Room' Since Day One
Tucker Carlson traveled to Las Vegas to seek further information about the deadliest one-man mass shooting in American history.
He spoke with Doug Poppa, a former casino security official, and Catherine Lombardo, the attorney for the massacre victims.
Carlson said authorities have disclosed nothing further about shooter Stephen Paddock's girlfriend Marilou Danley or the location of the city's 40-member SWAT team on the night of the shooting.
He said that his producers encountered "outright hostile" responses and stonewalling from local law enforcement officials.
Lombardo said she has been mostly unable to get her own questions answered.
She said the lawyers for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer - the parent company of the Mandalay Bay casino - have "hunkered down in a room since day one."
Lombardo said they were obviously protecting themselves from claims of negligence the night of the shooting.
She added that the latest piece of information she received was the event permit for the country music festival.
She said it was filled out by an MGM executive, and not a live event organizer like Live Nation.
