Tucker Carlson debated former Clinton campaign adviser Richard Goodstein over the merits of two federal probes - one involving Hillary Clinton and the other, President Trump.

Carlson said that Gen. Michael Flynn [Ret.] pleaded guilty to a felony for lying to an FBI agent - a criminal offense, while Clinton made false statements that were deemed "just careless."

Goodstein disagreed with the premise that Clinton had lied, saying that then-Director James Comey said she hadn't.

Carlson said Clinton was untruthful about storing classified information on a private server.

"Hillary was able to speak with the FBI [while] not under oath," he said, adding that Flynn was not afforded that ability.

She "didn't face a perjury trap," he said.
