A flock of wild turkeys appears to be out for some post-Thanksgiving revenge in the Bay Area.
Residents of Lafayette, Calif. have needed to duck flying turkeys perched on roofs, one man said.
The birds apparently escaped being Thanksgiving dinner and are now taking over parts of area neighborhoods.
Ed Henry reported that, while the turkeys are often seen on the area's golf course, they don't often make their way into the suburbs.
Henry said a drought has sapped up some of the birds' food supply.
The 30-pound turkeys have the ability to damage cars and fly short distances.
So far there are no reports of any fowl-related injuries.
