Vice President Mike Pence led the traditional Veterans Day military ceremony that places a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The vice president joined the military procession at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, which began with a two minute moment of silence honoring all Americans who have served in the armed forces. Pence placed the wreath decorated with a red, white and blue ribbon flowers on a stand before the tomb.

Those in attendance were totally silent for the solemn ceremony as the national anthem and "Taps" were played.
