'Reckless, Outrageous and Undignified': Jeff Flake Denounces Trump on Senate Floor

Arizona Senate candidate Dr. Kelli Ward (R) said Sen. Jeff Flake's (R-Ariz.) announcement that he won't run for reelection in 2018 is a win for Americans who want strong conservative leadership.

On "Outnumbered Overtime," Ward, a former Arizona state senator, said Flake saw momentum building behind President Donald Trump's "drain the swamp" message, and he knew he couldn't win in the GOP primary or the general election.

"He's been one of the original Never Trumpers, and I think that that movement is at its end," Ward said. "The voters of Arizona have spoken. ... They don't want open borders, amnesty excuse-makers in Washington, D.C., on either side of the aisle."

Ward said she's confident her campaign will be successful, and she can't wait to get to Washington to help Trump put his "America first" agenda into policy.

"I've heard the president loves me," Ward said. "And I'm glad to hear that, because I have been out here touting the secure borders, stop illegal immigration, get rid of ObamaCare, fix the tax code, grow the economy, strengthen our military message that he has put forth on the campaign trail and since he's been in Washington."

She said she looks forward to partnering with Trump and other strong conservative leaders in Washington to make America great again.
