Hannity: Evidence Is Overwhelming That Clintons Sold Out Our Nat'l Security to the Russians
In his opening monologue last night, Sean Hannity said the Russia story is boomeranging back on Democrats, the mainstream media and the Clintons.
Hannity pointed out that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian meddling in the U.S. reportedly now includes the Democrat-leaning Podesta Group. The lobbying firm is headed by Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary Clinton's former campaign manager, John Podesta.
He noted another explosive report that as Hillary Clinton was beginning her job as former President Obama's secretary of state, multiple arms of Russian President Vladimir Putin's machine unleashed an influence campaign designed to win access to the new secretary of state, her husband, Bill Clinton, and members of their inner circle.
He also pointed to the revelation that the House Oversight Committee is starting to investigate the Obama-era Uranium One deal, which allowed a Russian company to purchase a large portion of the American uranium supply.
The 2010 uranium agreement was reached while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, and key players had relationships with Bill Clinton and donated to the Clinton Foundation.
He said that Democrat lawmakers and the mainstream media have been hung up on allegations about the Trump campaigns ties to Russia for months, but it's clear what the real Russia collusion story is.
"The evidence is now overwhelming, it's incontrovertible: The Clintons sold out our national security to the Russians, and the Obama administration did nothing to stop them and then they covered it up," Hannity said. "Democrats and the media ... have been lying to you for over a year about what is really going on."
