Ingraham on Flake: 'This Could've Been a Speech Delivered by Schumer, Pelosi'
'The Ingraham Angle' premieres Monday at 10pm ET!
Laura Ingraham said Sen. Jeff Flake's (R-Ariz.) Senate floor critique of President Trump "could've been a speech delivered by Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer."
Ingraham said that the speech sounded like one given by a Democratic leader lambasting a Republican president, rather than a right-leaning Republican against his own party's leader.
"Someone like Jeff Flake, in his own state, he would not have won his primary against Kelli Ward."
Ingraham said she visited Arizona recently and found "no constituency for [Flake's platform of] open borders, endless war, trade deals that are very imbalanced."
"This is a continuation of last year's primary," she said.
Ingraham said that Flake didn't vote for President Trump and is still upset he won.
"The establishment is striking back," she said.
Former Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer said the events of the day proved that former White House adviser Stephen Bannon "won" the intraparty battle in Arizona in his war on the establishment.
