The 2010 uranium agreement was reached while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, and some investors in Russian-backed company Uranium One had relationships with former President Bill Clinton and donated to the Clinton Foundation.
On "Fox & Friends," Conway pointed out that Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) told Fox News that the House Oversight Committee has started looking into the Obama-era deal and it could result in a criminal investigation.
She noted that many in the mainstream media jumped all over the probe into Russian meddling in the U.S. election and possible ties between Russia and Trump associates, but there hasn't been as much noise now that the attention could be turning to the Podesta Group and the Uranium One deal.
"If we're going to continue to talk about 'Russia, Russia, Russia,' some of those other outlets can dust off their chyrons and screen graphics I haven't seen in a while and talk about Uranium One," Conway said.
She said the Uranium One deal is an example of why the American people don't trust the Clintons, and it's why the public deserves transparency on the various Russia probes.
"Let's not play politics, everyone, with cherry-picking which investigations you think are worthwhile and which ones aren't," Conway said.
