Hannity: The Left Doesn't Believe in Your Right to Defend Yourself

Just days after the Las Vegas massacre, Hillary Clinton is going after Republicans on the issue of gun control.

In an appearance on “The Tonight Show,” the former Democratic presidential candidate blasted the Republican response to Sunday night’s mass shooting that left 58 people dead and nearly 500 wounded.

“I can’t believe that one whole political party in the greatest country on earth is totally sold to the gun lobby,” she told host Jimmy Fallon.

“The vast majority of Americans and the vast majority of gun owners know we need common sense gun safety measures," she continued.

On "Outnumbered Overtime," Charlie Hurt criticized Clinton for immediately politicizing a tragedy.

"This isn't a time for trying to score political points," Hurt said. "And Donald Trump, for all of his failings and faults, he doesn't automatically turn into a political robot in these situations."

He said there are no "simple fixes" for gun violence, and Democrats often imply that anyone who doesn't support their gun control proposals doesn't really care about preventing mass shootings.

Jehmu Greene argued that the only way to keep this important issue in the spotlight is to talk about it when there are incidents like what happened on Las Vegas on Sunday.

"That's the only time people have an opportunity to talk about it and get support, is when the media opens it up," she said.
