Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway said President Trump is "frustrated" that Republicans could not come together to get health care across the goal line.

"[He's] very disappointed that senators who made a promise to their constituents to repeal and replace ObamaCare have failed to make good on that promise," she said.

Conway said Trump remains optimistic that health care reform will pass soon.

She deferred when asked whether Republicans like Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, who opposed all legislation thus far, are really Republicans.

"He is not giving up," Conway said of Trump, adding that in 2018 ObamaCare is set have a new scheduled tax instituted that will further hike premiums and other costs.
