WATCH: Maxine Waters Turns Comedian Dick Gregory's Eulogy into Anti-Trump Speech
While offering a eulogy at Dick Gregory's funeral, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) transitioned from remembrances of the late comedian to a rally cry against President Donald Trump.
"I wish I could sit with Dick, because I've got work to do," she said, in video obtained by the American Mirror. "I'm cleaning out the White House."
Waters and Gregory, who died last month at 84, are both natives of St. Louis, Missouri.
"We're going to sanitize the White House. We're not going to take what is happening in this country. Haven't you taken enough?" she asked the audience.
"And then, comes along this person," she said, calling Trump a "dishonorable human being who cheats everybody."
"[Trump] has the Alt-Right and the KKK and everybody else inside his cabinet," she said.
"I bet you Dick Gregory would tell me yeah, he did [collude with Russia]," Waters said.
Waters then claimed that "when I get through with Donald Trump, he's going to wish he had been impeached."
