'There Would've Been Violence' Without Them: Ben Shapiro Praises Cops After Berkeley Speech

Hillary: Trump Is 'A Clear and Present Danger to Our Country'

Doug Adler, a former ESPN reporter who was fired over commentary he gave regarding tennis star Venus Williams, discussed the sports network's decision to "go political."

Adler was fired several years ago for describing Williams' play and "tactics" in the Australian Open as "guerilla"-like.

After social media erupted, labeling Adler a racist, ESPN released him. He is now suing the network.

"It wasn't racially driven, it wasn't politically driven," Adler said of his commentary.

He said that he covered tennis for a decade without incident on ESPN, and then saw his bosses side with social media users who "didn't know [him]."

"They bowed down to Twitter and social media... how could they do that?" he said.

Adler and Brian Kilmeade also discussed the apparent double standard that befell people like Adler, country star Hank Williams Jr. and former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka.
