A former Navy SEAL described the Texas spirit "coming out in all of our citizens" in the aftermath Hurricane Harvey.

The "Lone Survivor" said it "tore him apart" to see the "thousand yard stare" of several women sitting together chatting in one of the Hurricane Harvey shelters.

"They were in a war," Marcus Luttrell said. "And they had the stare ... but they made it through it."

President Trump's visit "makes everybody stand up at attention and keep pushing forward," the "Lone Survivor" author told "Fox & Friends" on Sunday.

After Luttrell's house was completely flooded, he and his wife went to work at storm shelters helping other victims.
